Crafty Francey

Frances is a proud plus size, disabled and pansexual poe dancer. She has been poling since 2020 and trains at Maya Pole Dance in Bristol, where she is also their events coordinator.

Frances has been an EDI specialist professionally for 5 years and is a trustee in a disabled peoples organisation in Bristol.

A few words from Frances:

"I'm a big believer that pole is for everyone and when Coco reached out looking for an EDI specialist, I was so excited. We want BPC to be a place where margalised dancers are uplifted and celebrated. Where barriers are removed for individuals that might have faced challenges competing before.

We want BPC to be a place that is authentic, rather than tokenistic. Where all performers can walk into the space and go 'yes, I belong here'. I cannot wait to see you all sparkle and shine in September, it's going to be amazing".
